If I donate, how will my money be used?
All money donated to our organization stays right here in Currituck county and benefits our area’s underserved children. Your money will purchase school supplies, clothing, hygienic supplies, and other necessities that my be keeping a child from fully concentrating on their schooling and developing strong interpersonal relationships with their peers.
How do you identify a child in need?
We rely on trusted sources within our community to help us identify individual needs. We have a network of employees within our schools, social workers, and other equally qualified individuals in the area that contact us when they identify a child with a qualifying need.
How do you fund your purchases?
We rely on donations by people like you as well as organized fundraising events. We are so blessed to have witnessed this organization grow by leaps and bounds over what we expected to able to do! That being said, there are still so many children in our area that need our help! Every dollar that is donated counts and can make a difference in a local child’s life. Getting involved is easy and we’re always looking for volunteers to help us out with our events! If you have event/drop off point space where we can host a fundraiser or collect supplies, let us know! Volunteering space is just as appreciated as volunteering your time!
